Dr. Martha B. Alimi is Director of Music and Administration at Bread of Life. She specializes in the intersection of theology and music, and holds a PhD in theology from Boston University’s School of Theology, masters degrees in religion and music from Yale Divinity School with the Institute of Sacred Music and in historical musicology from the University of Connecticut. Her undergraduate degree is from Mount Holyoke College with a double major in music and classics. She has a passion for liturgy and has served as the music director, organist, pianist, and/or choir director at multiple churches. When she isn’t working, Martha enjoys studying Hildegard of Bingen, playing music, reading, and especially spending time with her husband Toni and daughter Abigail.
