Service & Outreach

"I am among you as one who serves."

The disciples of Jesus are taught by him to serve others in glad, generous, humble lives that seek the flourishing of all peoples, especially the marginalized, the needy, and the friendless.  The habit of caring for the needy is commanded in Israel's scriptures, embodied in Jesus' own life, and carried on in the community of his church.

Know thy Neighbor,

every Second Saturday

In order to love our neighbors, as we are taught, we must know them.  One of the best ways to start is to sit down to a meal together.

Join us on the Second Saturday of every month as we partner with the Salvation Army of Ithaca to cook and share a meal with our neighbors in need
